About ARC
ARC is a private nonprofit established in 1994 to create housing opportunities for low-income and elderly people in Faulkner County. In 2018. One of the primary objectives in ARC’s bylaws was to affect a permanent increase in the capacity of economically disadvantaged individuals, by providing the skills, knowledge and motivations needed to secure the opportunities to deal effectively with their own problems so that they eventually need no further government assistance. The overall focus of ARC is to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing for low-income elderly, individuals and families. ARC has two formerly Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties which are monitored for compliance by Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA).
